stigmata

Within a mile from Golgotha is a pictograph thought to be created by the Tataviam Indians. The stigmata is documented and published by the San Diego Museum, Rock Art Papers, Volume 3, Ken Hedges, Archaeoastronomy of Agua Dulce Canyon.

At Vasquez Rocks Park, there are many ancient Indian pictographs and petroglyphs. The pictographs are not accessible to the public. While breaking the rules, maybe the law, I searched for them. I hunted down many of them, but nothing of particular interest.

I had heard that a few archaeologists had written books about the different pictographs in the years prior in this area. Some of them were in the San Diego Museum of Art in the “Rock Art Papers.”

While visiting my son at UC Berkeley, I felt “compelled” to go to the library and was led to the “Rock Art Papers” and found the two different codexes about Agua Dulce. Above is one of the images—just another coincidence in my journey of possibly finding ‘The Holy Mountain,’ Golgotha.
